Please help as ive bought a power cap and im wanting to wire it up as soon as I can. Ive heard that the cap is to be wired up in parallel to the amp, but other people I have talked to say it is to be wired in series. Confused .
Here's a picture of both the wiring methods.

the battery fills the cap with power ensuring the the amp cannot draw to much current from the battery resulting in cutting out. Only really needed for big amps and huge subs

Yes it is parallel..just looked at my user manual for mine.. haven't actually installed it yet as i lost the resistor to charge it with!

Just to make life more easier, (and to cover my back) here is a scan of my destructions!
You want to wire it up right, the amount of power they hold!! Will soon knock your heart out of its socket!

IT HAS TO BE WIRED IN PARALLEL, anyone who suggests its in series is wrong
