I have to vouch for Maniflow too because their products and service is second to none.

You obviously have a catalytic converter fitted to you're Cooper 1.3i? So for now just buy the back boxes that fit from the cat back. Don't buy anything too large though and certainly no bigger than 1"3/4.

So give them a ring because they'll know what you need and sort you out.

Don't forget you'll need a new cat gasket too.

I used to have a 1"7/8 Maniflow twin-box side exit system which sounded nice (not too noisy), but when that needed replacing after many years of use I then fitted a Maniflow 1"3/4 version instead because I'd heard that anything over 1"3/4 could affect the performance on a standard car.

I've also got a Maniflow LCB fitted too and I removed the cat on my 1990 Cooper.

you can get other dtm exhausts but i liked the maiflow 1 as the pipes that COME OUT THE BACK(so not 2 confuse u with sizes as other people have lol) are smaller than most dtm's.
i saw a young lad the other day with another dtm but the pipes were like 4 inches across lol i was in stitches.

If the exhaust is too large then there isn't enough back pressure created from a standard (or slightly modified) engine. And it's been proven that it affects the performance leading to a drop in BHP.

So you really don't need any exhausts that are as wide as drain pipes, but a large tail pipe should be fine I believe?

Of course once you've fitted you're new exhaust or stage one kit, a rolling road session is then usually required to get the best from you're Mini.

Yes it does look good and I'm no fan of massive tail pipes/exhausts either.
