Hi all,

Can the standard adjustable front upright joints be replaced with the Mini Metro front upright joints? If so is there anything to be aware of in regards of modding the fitment?

Here's one fitted to the bottom of a mini hub, not my car.

What are 'front upright joints'?

Do you mean ball joints, swivel hubs ?

Rumour has it the taper of the metro ball joint pins changed so only the earliest ones fit mini wishbones.

As can be seen on that photo - they are not a direct fit. The Mini ball joint is a female thread whereas the Metro is a male thread - Miglias use an adapter that is 'basically' a threaded tube. However they have taken into account the canges this makes to the suspension geometry - not so easy on a road car!
