Good price.

Where in the UK are you? Check on ebay for local transportation companies.

There is truely a serious amount of work in that motor - everything has rusted and the interior is wrecked. Depending on how much your willing to spend - but you save so much just by looking around abit more.... thats only my opinion tho...

got to be honest, paid £350 for manfred he has a 1989 mayfair shell which was.. well... grim! and looked ok until we got stripping him. resprays cover a mulitude of sins.

now all welded up and looking much better.

With time and effort, and a few squid spent you can have a smashing personalised mini you can be proud of because you did it yourself.

I say go for it, if you change your mind you could sell it on.

I have jumped at £50 Minis twice now, and there is a true reason why they're £50.

Maybe its just that Im not capable of carrying out excessive amounts of welding etc, but I gave up on both and am now after one which is solid!

If you know you can weld, cut back, prep etc and have lots of spare time I say go for it, but if not just save up and spend say £400 as this will get you an easy project.

From the pics that's a very bad shell, If you could scrape or save an extra £300-£400 you'll get one which will be a LOT cheaper and easier to restore. That's going to need a Bomb load of work and money (unless you can do most yourself) spent on it. Just being honest, which is always the best policy.

Well I agree with what many people have said about that the shell does look bad and will need alot of work doing to it....the thing to consider is whether you have the skill, time and money to take on such a large project....

But another thing to consider is that its only £80(including delivery) and you could either use the parts for another mini or probably make that money back or more if you stripped it....(not that I like seeing minis stripped....)

Depends on how competent you are with doing the repairs i supose, looks spot on for 50 quid tho, if your ok with doing th work yourself go for it but if the only car youve built/repaired is made fom lego be cafeful, you could end up wastin money an crying lol.
If you have paitence and not daft you could turn it into something you could be really be proud of, just check everywhere pull carpet up, lookunderneah it with a torch and prod it, just make sure it is in your capabilaties. Make sure there is a valid reason for having no V5 aswel.
anyways i think ive said enough,
Adam.

Thanks a lot guys. I've emailed some one from the forum the seller uses and it an alright car.
Does need loads of work though.
He suggested that i first start taking it apart then putting back together etc to find out what its all about.
Augh. So difficult to choose.
To be honest i've never used a welder but been taught what to do, given info, read 'bout em.
My parents really don't like it. 'because of the no document bit. My Dad kind of wants me to get it.
Also, i've had loads of people near me who've said they'll help.
