It's hard when you get your heart set on a car, we've all done it but as you ain't got the experiance I'd wait and try to find a more simple resto. I paid £250 for mine and it had a couple of holes in the floor and the scuttle was pretty bad, apart from that it was pretty clean. It had all the documents with no MOT or Tax.

Excited!

I think i'm going to have to wait.
Is really annoying. Being saving for quite a bit, had a low time after i got attacked now just determined to get a Mini and make it my pride n joy.
Hmm. You guys better all be ready till i've saved up some more.

iv just been through the same. even to the extent of the attack. its gutting when you have heart set on something.
got mine for £200. not exactly what i wanted but it will be when im finished.
welding is that hard. sign up at your local college and learn properly. will be a skill that is very handy when it comes to car restoration. there is not a better skill to have.
sit it out and wait for one close and with goodies. we all love goodies.
good luck!

I'm going to do welding at a local college, just looking for one.
Thanks so much for help everyone.
Looks like you'll have to be waiting a bit longer for a project car from me
Really appreciated.
Jammerz.

You'll find one matey, just keep em peeled and I'm pretty sure one'll pop up, there's a Mini out there waiting to meet you, It'll be worth it when you're shooting round the country lanes
