this as been going on a while now and im trying not to lose interest just shafts and wiring to do now and thats it i hope lol

Thanks for the kind remarks boo
its an home made (part work) (i used to restore classic cars a few years ago)
so bought a 1/2 finished frame from fat hedgehog but the welding was tat so i ground it all off and re-welded at work. I had to make some mods to it though as he had built it up without starter/alternator in place think he was going to fit them with sky hooks lol.
also the tie rods where a mile out so ive spent 50 hours on it to sort it all out, at least it's now looking quite good

looks good! nice subby! good luck with the wiring! u keeping all the std runnign gear for injection or u goin carbs and ignition controller?

keeping the injection for fuel economy more than anything else its got 52m/m throttle body on so should breath ok
its an early gti engine with ally manifold and no pas system to worry about lol

thanks for the interest what are othr people putting in was offered a 1600 honda vtec today needs a new dizzy though

hi there peeps got the k-seies running oooorrrraaahhh, BUT think im havin a fueling problem as it will only run for a few seconds then stops and will only start after the pump is purged.
it will only re-start after the key is turned off then back on any ideas peeps

have you got the fuel cut off switch connected? and if you have have you checked it is ok?

using standard ecu?

got the keys coded properly??

common problem on the k-series engines.
check 16vminiforum.com

hi miniboo no inertia switch is connected yet as i was just trying it come to the conclusion that its the ecu turning th injectors off, so its been sent away today to get it to free run let you know monday how it went

it was bungle i sprayed some fuel into the throttle body and it keeps running so i checked the injector pulse with noids and sure enough they turned off
