Can i just ask the advantages are to applying via a club, and on ya tod?

Dunno Rich!! Its the same price and we all end up together.

Does anyone else know??

ok everyone for those of you who have said in this post please can you reserve me so and so, I havent done it. I need you all the buy it from the store which is now up and running so that it will count it down for us. So far I have had two people buy the tickets which means there is 18 places left. I will keep this post upto date with numbers untill all of the places have gone

I think the advantage of the club thing is u get a chance to go on the stand and a chance to take part in the soapbox challenge.

From what i can make out - the cars doing the run cannot go on the club stand. All cars going on club stands need to be parked up on Madeira Drive in the morning.

The guys at central minis dont do the run (its a long day and we're all old farts) as they try to get a clubstand. I've done the run for the past 3 years (hyped up on caffine and haribo sweets) & hope to get in for this year.

The soap box challenge is open to all clubs whether you get a stand or not - but the participants needs to be there when it takes place. Last year with all the queues, we missed everyone doing their challenge :sad:

....and the theme for the show this year is 'Rocky Horror' so guys - get on those stockings!!!

Rich, all the runners park on Madeira Drive. There is limited space thats why LSMOC limit the number of cars to about 2000 runners. you need your run card to get onto the seafront. The rest of Madeira Drive is taken up by club and trade stands and the gymkana, show & shine etc.

and not forgetting the fish n chip shops and the classic seaside gift shops - nice fridge magnets and sticks of rock!!

Ok so if your on the actual run from London to Brighton you get to park on the seafront?? LOL

All club members who get a stand park on the seafront and set up their stands on Sunday morning. If you are doing the 'official' run then you do get to park on the seafront too.

Others do join in the run and wait just outside Crystal Palace - but as they are not 'official runners' they cannot get into Crystal Palace or onto the seafront - so have to find parking elsewhere.

Runners tend to wear all manner of silly guises, hats and wigs - and considering the theme - i guess there are going to be a few unnecessary sights!!

if you order and dont have pay pal but want to send a cheque i will take your order into account I will then give your cheque five postal dasy to arrive (eg I wont count sundays but I will count every other day of the week). If after five days your cheque hasnt arrived I will take you off the list, if your cheque arrives after this time and there is still room on the list then you will be put back onto the list. If your cheque arrives and there is no room then you will be put onto a reserve list this will also be on a first come first served basis, also if all the sapces have been taken up but you stiill want to come with us then you will also be added to reserve list. Hope this helps
