Hi what is the correct torque for the cylinder head on a 1275, also for the
tappets.

According to the Haynes manual,for a type 12H 1275, cylinder head torque=50 lbft/68 Nm, tappets cover torque=3.5 lbft/4.7 Nm.
Remember to tighten cylinder head bolts in correct sequence, get a Haynes/ Mini specific workshop manual.

tappets cover? whats that? sure it aint the rocker cover? 3.5 is finger tight

By tappets do you mean rockers? Tappets are followers

...Do you want the torque setting for the fixings at the front of the rocker pedestals?
