well folks, just a quick one, has anyone the dimensions of the cone compression tool for the front of the mini? im planning on making one myself, just need the lenghts of the T-bar that sits on the chassis and the part that screws into the cone.

Also whats the pitch of the 14mm thread for later cones?

im sure someone has one lying about, just need the measurements, cheerz!

Its the standard Metric thread 14mm.

to be honest you can get the tools for less than £20, imho its hardly worth spending the time making one :s

the length of the tube isnt important, as long as it clears the bodywork of the car allowing you to turn the bar to compress the cone. have a measure from your tower bolt to scuttle, and add an inch.
