With a foam roller and spray cans

extremely happy with how it came out

what do you guys think?

How the hell did you manage to get a smooth finish with a foam roller! Didn't it just go all stipply?

lots a prep, i gave it 2 base coats with roller, waited for it to dry properly, then sanded it down with wet 800 grit paper (this got rid off all the pimples and lines) until it was smooth then another coat with some rattle cans, then sanded down with wet 1200 grade paper ( got rid of patches ) then just an fine coat of some spray can paint and its done, the pic was taken today

I like your meathod! A friend of mine did his car with a roller... it ended up bobbly and has bits of roller in the paint! Yours looks alot nicer How much did all the paint cost? I need to respray soon is all.

and thats everything,

primer
rattles
synthetic paint 1.5 ltr did the whole car with some left
wet/dry paper

you can decide how much paint you want on aswell

all in all saves you alot of money

busy doing mine at the mo....will be doing it purely by spray can aerosol...if it goes on as well as the primer Im laughing lol....all prepped nicely first of course though..that took some time i can tell you!

The rattle can wins! How many did you need to do the whole car? I already have a primer on but I want it to go back to the origional colour which is underneith.

about 30+

if you buy bulk you'll get em at a cheaper price, remember if your going to do it all buy rattles get 2 thick base coats, you'll get patches but done worry bout them, when its all painted, do a final blow over very fine, hold the can further away then let it build up slowly

yea matt blacks the final colour

was going to do satin but matt won
