Right some more progress (kind of)

After Saturday spent wrestling in the minus Pete and I finally managed to get the Trickshifter fitted

Unfortunatley when we started the car to test it, it appears to be "blipping" the throttle on the upshift..... and killing the ignition on the downshift.......

Now thankfully after a quick phone conversation with Trickshifter this is a very simple fix but because i didn't find out until too late to try it at the weekend I'm hoping to sort it tonight then hope for dry weather for a test run..

If all is successful I am hoping to go to Santa Pod this sunday to give it a sneaky outing and see what he can do up the strip..... But I won't get too ahead of myself just yet.......... Fingers crossed for some good weather!!

Jesus Ade, thought you had trouble just getting in and out of that thing, let alone wrestling a fully grown man in there!! You must still have some of that baby oil left!

LOL you'll be pleased to hear Jammy that I was in the boot/engine bay and Pete was in the cab between the seats working from opposite ends! So no baby oil required........ well at least not while we were working on the car!

I can tell you for sure that fitting the throttle blipper to the throttle bodies without taking them out is a nightmare!!!!

Am looking forward to getting it finished and testing it now!!

Although the weather is nice at the moment it's forecast for rain!!!! :'(

Erm Subby was from Z-cars. Should save around 10kgs apparently.

Anyhoo good news Trickshifter finally tested and Woo Hoo!!!!!! Awesome bit of kit!!

Needs a tiny amount of adjustment as it's possible to get it to interupt or blip without changing gear if I'm really gentle with it but oh boy is it fun!!!!

Will have to get some video of it as it just sounds amazing!!

What is this Trickshifter lol... so I dont have a clue... and yeah defo get the vid up if you can Ade! Just so you know im really jealous of you having that car haha... but both the Pick up and your Minus are just as cool as each other. I know ive said it already but great going on them!

I really want mine to be green like that, I knew what colour I wanted then saw yours on the front cover... and was like! OI!!! hes nicked me colour lol. haha!
