Spent Sunday morning wireing in the engine, plumbing in the fuel lines and checking fuel and oil pressures only to find it wouldn't start  . Traced it to a lack of spark so had to be electrical. Robbed my mini of its wiring loom to check that but still no spark. Eventually traced it to a broken crank shaft sensor
The big start up has been postponed untill next Sunday if I can obtain a new sensor this week.

Don't think it will be running this Sunday as just found out the parts will cost nearly £200. Going to try and aquire them from where the engines came from and try to do some sort of deal.

Have had a week to not think about the fact my poor little mini wouldn't start! But it's all in hand! A couple of sensors and some wedge will sort it all out!
Again depending on how much I can aquire the sensors for this could slow progress down again!! (we'll ignore the holidays stag do's and weddings for now! )
Anyhoo have been tinkering around today and unfortunatley had people unexpectedly dropping around which always slows things down  so basically I've managed to make a couple of bracket and trim the door cards and fit one of them!
The door cards are just some sheet carbon fibre so they had to be cut and marked for holes etc which meant they where on and off like a whores knickers! So took a little longer than I'd have liked
But here's a pic of the finished side
