As much as I'd love to it's not happening I'm afraid. :sad: I shall as normal be in the garage trying to get it nearer to being finished! (I'm not the most popular chap for doing that.... :fear: ) I'll just make sure all my packing is done ready that way I'll not get in trouble :nugget: :grin:

Hopefully by the end of Saturday though most of the list will be done!!!! I can barely contain the excitement :grin: I'll try and get some stuff done before the weekend but I'm already working late two nights this week....... :sad:

How's it coming along Ade?

The colour of your car has been haunting me recently (in a good way), and I couldn't put my finger on where I'd seen it (or something very similar) used in an automotive application. Then, I saw a book yesterday with some classic sports cars depicted within, and it all became clear.

One of the most beautiful cars ever made was offered in "lime green" as a factory colour (I think). The Lamborghini Miura P400............

Wow never in my wildest dreams did I imagine my ickle mini would be compared to a miura!!! :grin:

Well another little job done this evening. We discovered that the rear light clusters were missing the little blanking plate between the upper and lower part of the lenses so when the brakes came on the whole lot lit up

So a bit of time tonight has seen a couple of little plates of ali shaped and fitted! (suprisingly complicated shape though )

Also sorted the hazard flasher unit so they now flash at a sensible rate! :grin:

A few less jobs for Saturday then :grin: :baaa:

beating the M&AP MOTORSPORT baby blue clubman and hornet, the Granny Smith Racing Marcos and now pete's pickup (even tho i voted for it in that poll!!)

His missus has dragged him away on holiday again :sad:

Will be a mad rush in the evenings next week to finish the last few bits and get it mot'd. That's if I ever finish making his windows .
