Hmm could be quite a queue at Stafford. Problem is it's inside and won't be moved from when it opens to when the shows finished! So not sure it's gonna be the ideal time for rides!

Thge bulkhead as Pete says is carpeted and quite tightly clamped. On the last couple of runs out I thought I could hear a slight metallic squeek almost like the bulkhead just moving slightly. But to be honest as soon as you put your foot down you can't hear a damn thing let a alone a slight squeek!

Oh and Crocstarr That'll be 15st 7 now thankyou very much!

The minus is called Bruce. Anything frog or bogey related were purely down to the very strange people on this site! :w00t:

Right just so people know I was asked alot at the show about my bonnet pins and where they'd come from, so be the ever so helpful chap I am..............

I couldn't remember the place!

But a quick search and I've found the site.

the site is www.speeding.co.uk

look under Rage racing and you'll find carbon hood pins.

Job done!

Ade,

Since you've had your project completed for some time now, I was wondering if you could comment on the handling of the car. Have you taken it to any track days thus far? I searched through the thread, but couldn't find anything definitive.

Hiya

To be honest I haven't been able to search the limits of the handling at all yet!

Over here in the country of poo weather it's not been the ideal time to see how it goes around corners!!! Ever since it has been finished it's been either icey snowing or slippy roads from all the gritters and greasy C**p on the road surface!

What I can say is it feels very neutral and very positive. Lots of input from the steering wheel about whats going on.

For example when I've taken it out in less than ideal conditions and got on the throttle earlier than ideal it doesn't get horribly out of shape it gets a bit sideways but in a very controlable manner! Can gather it up no probs at all!

I'll be looking to start getting more familiar with it as the weather improves. But so far suitably impressed!

lol funny aren't we Bungle!

I always said losing weight was cheaper than buying carbon fibre parts for the mini!! It's like free speed!!

For example

Me plus car when I started to lose weight 695.5kgs power to weight 230bhp per ton

Me plus car now equals 687.7kgs power to weight 233bhp per ton!

Thats an extra 3bhp for nothing! and more healthy to boot!!
