As Ade has told you about his Minus thought I best let everyone know about my R1 Mini Pickup. One off rollcage built by Z-Cars using an R1 injected engine. The engine will sit in the back where the load bay used to be.
Ade and myself are building the cars together so spec will be similar for both(except those mirrors  ).Will post pictures as and when I can. Just waiting for both cars to come back fom Z-Cars.

Ade mentioned this one to me when I sold him the minus. He said it's gonna look like the engine is just sitting on the back. Sounds cool.

gonna need weather proofing tho. Perspex cover over load bay would look cool.

surely it wouldn't need that much weather proofing apart fron the electrics.....when fitted to motorbikes the engines can be pretty exposed and seem to go ok.

Will possibly have some sort of cover with clear perspex sections built into it. This will depend on how high the top of the engine is compared to the side of the load bay.
Spent all my money buying wheels, seats and suspension arms today so should have most parts to build it.

Spoke to Chris from Z-Cars today at the show and framework should be going for powder coating this week(nice shade of cadburys purple  ). Hoping to get it back first week in Feb.

Could the truck be fitted with an tonneu cover to hide the engine in the box?

Might be a good finish for the truck.

Got it home at last. Just a couple of pics for now(if it works). Will try to post some more soon. Don't worry about the rust on the body. Don't think I will be using this one as I have another in the garden in better condition.
