You can't really tell but there's one hole in the floor (no spread plate welded in or anything) which they made in the wrong spot, and the second hole next to it. Well obviously there is not a stress crack between the two holes... Couldve at least bunged up the original hole, assholes.

Stupid flood control

Anyways, next up is what is probably the only working part of this devilish car (and incidentally it probably works because i installed it myself rather than it being like this when I bought it.)

Let's see what else is wrong...

Subframe mounts are shot on front (something moves on sudden braking)
Car shakes a lot at idle (including steering wheel)
Engine dies after letting go of throttle at high revs
Knocks like a *Female doggy* when letting go off the clutch (can't put up with that)
Rust on sills + small crack on patch inner front arches (there's a crack there but there's metal behind it :\)
Rear wheels don't fit without suicide spacers
Front arches are ridiculous and I can't find any arches in Cyprus to cover it up
Dented and rusty bootlid
Bonnet resprayed with red paint to stop rust
Scuttle corner is filled (probably rusted through) and painted red to stop rust
Wiring system was made by a monkey...
Oil leaks from diff output
Exhaust blows at manifold connection (makes quite annoying popping noises)
Engine is very noise (sounds a bit like tappets but those have been checked). Can't hear it as much from inside though since everything else is shaking from the vibrations
Seatbelts don't extend/wind back properly
Steering column needs replacing
I have 2 or even 3 flasher relays, one of which is from a nissan :\
Wiper motor is gone
Inner wing to front panel joint has some rust and a crack
Cones need replacing (replaced the rear two from a 1976 1275GT which is in terrible condition (had a fire in the boot), and they were mint compared with the '90s bloody ones!!!). Fckn thing.
Knuckle joints need replacing
Leaks (or leaked through both drivers and passenger doors) because the seal wasn't on properly (I put it on properly now but its already come apart (its kind of like two pieces, one hard and one soft together) in a few places so dunno if that'll hold or not.
Needs new alternator (got one)
Needs new ignition leads + spark plugs
I get 11.95 volts from the battery (granted its been cranking the engine for a while without being run in a while...). At fuse box even when the engine is running I still get 11.95 volts...
I get 9.35 volts at the coil :\
Bits of glass everywhere on the carpet (those little strands that you can't see and they hurt like hell) because someone broke into the car (when previous owner had it)...
Seat subframes were welded by a rhinocerous by the looks of it

I can't take it... I paid over a grand for this car... Within a month my wheels were stolen, and then all these problems started.

With what I paid for this POS car, it shouldn't be like this

Sorry to hear this mate. Why don't you do a full rebuild, then you will know it has been done properly.

Let it go. Some cars reach a sort of critical mass where they go wrong faster than you can put them right, and then you may get depressed and not be able to pull out of the dive. So it's up to us to cheer you up.

Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because
they taste funny?

Afraid that if I don't sort this out soon (and cheaply) then its probably minis for good...

Full rebuild is out of the question as I've already spent enough money on the car, it doesn't deserve anymore :]

Anyway we'll see I may haму found a few problem causes today so we'll see how it goes...

come on pavel    ....there are a lot of prissy little jobs there....and just a couple of larger ones.....with a good weekend you could get a lot of the little stuff done. a lot of it seems to be down to the subframe mounts, which is not the worst job in the world. that would cure a lot of your knocks and bumps....i would change then engine mounts while i was at it...then i would do the exhaust and manifold...again that would sort a lot of your annoying noises and rattles, and will also help the *Female doggy* run better, maybe fixing some more of your annoying little niggles. the knocking when you let the clutch out, could be down to your exhaust banging on the car floor, the dodgy subby mmounts. am sure if you stop your engine jumping around..alot of your problems will be cured!!!! chin up buddy, everyone gets like this, i know i did last night when it took me four hours to get twenty miles due to silly little stuff>

Erm yeah I realise that. Hopefully Dan will help me out by sending me some subby mounts + engine mounts + knuckle joints, so that could help a bit. Steering column was already replaced.

However, this made my decision to sell it final (as soon as I fix the mounts):

Lovely crack in the floor/arch... no rust, but the crack is pretty cha-ching.
