looking good mate. How you getting on with the front. i found my design a little hard to open and trying to line up the front pins is a bit tricky.

i have just read thru your project and it looks so cool with the flip front. mine has send to respray for three and a half weeks and it feel like ages since my last drive it. Congrats to you finally getting the car back.

The front pins are ok, its just remembering to fully close before pushing back but it gets better the more practice you get.

3 Weeks wish mine was so quick, mine was in the spray shop for 5 months but Dave did such a good job I'm not bothered

I was bad enough when I didn't have my Mini for one month and I had to drive a Corsa! It's been two weeks since I last drove the Mini and I'm itching for it, no idea how you managed to last five months!

At least the wait was worth it though.

The mini is looking totally refreshed mate!!!! Really glossy red bet you cant wait to get it cleaned properly & take it out for a blast! Gave mine a really good run on the London to Brighton run last weekend alls going great. You'll have to post up some pics of the mini all cleaned up & in it's natural environment!! Well done, so whats next on the list!!!!!!

Thanks mate when am I ever going to see yours??? Been up in the lake district all weekend camping had loads of people asking me about the car and what I had done to it, and the odd people walking past taking pictures it was nice to have complement the car. But I did npr take my camera

Next time I go out I'll take my camera & post you up a few pics!! To look at my mini looks quite normal but its when you look closer you see the little details & thats what makes it special to me . Question is when is the next bit of good weather coming, spent a very wet & windy day at the Norfolk mini owners day in fakenham last Sunday, god it rained!!! I think you lot up north had a great weekend by all accounts!
