^^ Hahahaha!!!

Well The odds on me geting done are pretty slim because my dads a cop and I know all the cops in the medway towns

Once ive got my bullet mirrors and chrome roof trim etc, It will look quite clasic anyway. And unles the cop is a mini fanatic. He wont go "Look, that mini cant be a pre 74 reg because its got internal door hinges" :cheese:

Lucky You, no problems from the law from you.
I was thinking the same thing, but I know lots of people who got pulled because they were young driving a flash car. I can see it now:
"Right so you've got illegal numberplates, your headlamps aren't E marked, niether are your rears and your spotlamps haven't got a dip pattern" All to the sound of my licence being ripped up.
I've found quite a few coppers near us are petrolheads - could be a problem.
Was thinking though, could fit some for going abroad whilst on the ferry, who's gonna know then?

Ok, I dont have the sliding windows or the wheels, But that dosent matter. It dosent have to be spot on. Its a blue mini with spot lights, thats close enough

Ok i agree the b+w plates look class, but what to do bout the front?
I put a sticker on mine across the front where the badge goes looked good but not right, put a couple of wipac spots on an it looks brilliant proper rally style or somethin like that!
Low mounted rear plate does look cool seen it but haven't sorted it out yet!

No you can't. The car has to be pre 74 not the plate. The date of first registration won't change on your V5 when you transfer it. But since Mini's look pretty much the same now as they did then I doubt anyone will think anything of it.

Is it legal to put the reg plate on the bottom of the car (Like on the front of a mini) rather than on the boot lid?

You can have it anywhere on the back of the car, as long as it's lit up.

Guy.
