ah!! Teapot.

It used to be a white black cooper S with black bonnet stripes. Used to get very hot in there so I installed a full length sunroof. Later on when the rust started to come through as it inevitably does I decided on a new look as i needed new panels anyway. Hence the funky pearl job, the mk 1 front and custom boot lid. Doing the roof was too hassly with the sunroof and more expensive so I left it!! Apart from that - the big black sunroof would look a bit mad on a white/pink roof.

You only get hints of the pink in certain types of weather so most of the time it looks white.

I do plan to re-do the alloys in black to try and even it up a tad!! Inside is pink and black as I cant afford to recover the seats to match up - me pension doesnt stretch that far!!

So there

Glue? Whenever I watched Blue Peter they used sticky back plastic! unless the glue was used before they started the show, to make the show more interesting!

No, all I can remember is elephant poo.

Don't encourage us old folk to reminisce ... we go off at huge tangents and never come back.

And don't say just as well. Oh, you did. :whitething:

oh Mark you are so thoughtful!!!

I do have a CD multichanger roaming around under the seat - its wired up but not bolted in yet and has free run of the mini, along with some empty crisp packets, water bottles, sweetie wrappers.....etc....!!!

Its not a high tech thing - but better than the old gramaphone!! and you can just about hear it over the exhaust!! :erm:

I get this mental picture of someone in the back seat winding the gramophone while you drive..... but wouldn't the old 78's skip?

Nah, you just tape a half brick to the end of the player arm, keep it well bedded into the vinyl :nugget:
