for some reason my wings have decided to go all dull, tried everything.

meguiars 3 step(several times)

tech wax

t-cut

merr stuff

etc!

any ideas?

What colour is it & is it laquired ?
all other panels ok ?

sorry its black, std finish no laquer

all the rest of the car is fine- polishes up a treat apart from the ns door (but thats another story)

im wondering if its from working on the engine and touching the wings with oily hands.....

tested a small area with rubbing compound and its seemed to work, been nearly a week and still shiny,

will it be ok to carry on with the rubbing compound???
