Sadly due to the top engine steady bolt falling out i haven't been able to drive my mini fro a few days
finally got a new bolt for it today and got it fitted so decided to give the handbrake a quick adjustment due to tooo many handbrake turns
it turned out that i had to adjust both rear wheel bearings but the sadest part is the rear radius arm bearings have gone, wondered why i still had movement on the wheel after adjusting the wheel bearing and noticed the radius arm moving on the pivot
so it phonecalls tomorrow to get a new bearing kit and hopefully get it fixed next week
a bad day

Bad luck mate! Do you have a radius arm reamer? If not it'll be a lot faster to get an exchange arm.

As Dan says, 28 quid a side for a recon unit from Min-its ( or was the last time i got some for petal last year ) saves all that p'ing around with reamers etc... all you've got to do is make sure your existing ones are not too far gone.
PS... Hows the trailer going ?

at least while his car is waiting for parts to get fixed....... my car has had some work done on it too.
the trailer has actually moved since we have been here at the new house (3 months) but it doesn't look like much more has been done yet, but also a bit difficult when the weahter wont co-operate, no place dry or inside to do the work, and 3 kids wanting to "help"
