Ok well my clutch is major messing up... When i go it press the clutch it is only half releasing, if that makes sense, so its near impossible to change down gears, but changing up gears seems to be fine, just a bit stiff.
If had a look round it it seems that it could also be the ball on the lever arm, i thought it could be this as the clutch doesn’t seem to be slipping or anything, just not full disengaging.
Or is it something completely different?
Please could someone tell me what i need to order asap as iv got limited internet access.

Have you tried adjusting the throw and stop gap?
Verto or non-verto?

Has it started doing it quite recently - I had the ball end snap off the end of my non-verto arm about 6 months ago. Symptoms were exactly as you describe taking effect over a day or two with quite short trips.

it not sure if this is what you mean, but i loosened the big bolt where the lever arm goes into the casing, as this makes it slightly better, however i cant really select 1st and the rest of the gears seem to have something stopping them from selecting, so you have to really force it into gear.

That means you've put your clutch out of adjustment and may well now need a new one as Verto clutches can't be accurately set once worn. Once the release is working again you can guess at the adjustment but there is no accurate setting.
It could well be that the ball on the end of the release arm is tearing away from the arm or has worn, or any of the clevis pins used as pivots could be worn. It may just need lubricating with graphited grease on the ball, plunger and pins.

Sorry Tomf I can't be any help as I don't know very much about verto clutches
could I possibly get more close-up photos of your awesome green/blck mini?
I am doing up a new shell and am considering painting it in a very similar style.
Cheers
SORRY! I found it!
