Hey guys,

about to buy some fiberglass w&p arches in white, and would like to match them with my car (red). is there any special prep that must be done to paint fiberglass etc?

Basically, check them for fit against your car, trimming any dodgy bits if there are any, then rub then down with 500 grit abrasive, plastic prime, and the prime as normal. You can skip the final priming if the gelcoat is in good quality, just use 800 grit wet and dry, followed by plastic primer, and paint. I did it that way on my grp 2's, it worked perfect, finish is spot on.
