[rob mini]

Last night was all planned, goto notts to join a convoy for the cruise derby 2. neways heres what happened :tongue:

From the convoy point at derby, we all went on the location but a couple of us missed the turning as they turned at the last minute. I saw 2 scoobys from the convoy and decided to follow as they might of been from derby, so i gets putting my foot down. Get driving and i notice that they are giving it some trying to lose me but i kept persistant on them and kept up. they were doing things like goin round the roundabouts like 3 times. After a while they realised i was trying to get to the cruise so we all pulled into a petrol station to get directions and make fone calls. 1 of the scooby drivers behind me was saying that on the roundabouts he was geting it sideways and the mini was just sticking . 1 of the lads got out and said 'thats got some poke, what is it, a tuned 1300'. was well chufed. His face was a picture when i told him it was a virtually stanard 998. best bit about it though was i wasnt really giving it too much on the bends as i know the yokos dont like it too much when its wet.

it started makin noises after about a lap round but thankfully they stopped when it started to go in a straight line again

I dunno, I've watched one of those crazy science programs on Discovery (oh the shame!!!!) and i think they pretty much proved this to be a myth!

pah! Subaru arent worthy enough to sniff the exhasut fumes of a Skyline GTR, and the Skyline cant match a mini in the twisties!
