I e-mailed John Cooper garages yesterday, they replied today saying they would try and find a brochure from that period which they believe featured the car and send it to me, which I will then in turn post on here. They also advised contacting Rover which I will now do.

I've got a catalogue of theirs from '99 and it's not a great help, but maybe they have a different brochure which they're talking about.

I never expected anyone to be this bothered to be honest, thanks for your help!

Just went to dig out the catalogue, and it only has the same photo as the one which was posted above.

One of the mags did a big 4 page feature on the car but I don't have that issue anymore. I think it's not available as a back issue anymore either.

How about asking one of the guys who are getting rid of their back issues to have a flick through them for you. Oh, I've just done that for you!

Rover have just e-mailed me back and given me another couple of pictures including a little run down of what the car was about. The first pic is an interior shot similar to what you already got, and the other pic is another of the outside. I'll post em up when I get home tonight.

It wasn't much really. I mean how long does it take to send a couple of e-mails?! Well here are the pics from Rover.

Jammy, you really are working overtime on this one aren't you! I know that the same pictures seem to keep coming up but that's not your fault.

As Blackout suggested I would love to name you for a gold star just now, but the gold star league seems to have vanished of late. I'll get on to Marky about that.

I'd hardly say overtime, all I did was sent out a few e-mails, tis the people that had to dig out the photos that did most of the work!

That is a bench mark for everyone to achieve, although I don't think I could fit into it as the clearance between the dash and seats looks very small. I love those wheels. (I wonder who else has them)

The bit I love the best is the little remote controls built into each side of the thigh supports on the seats! Nice colour too.

I seem to remember those seats were electrically adjusted, electrically heated and cooled and cost a shed load of cash.

JCG said at the time that they had to get quite a few sets of the Sportspack wheels dipped in order to get the plating setup properly, and then they had to dip a few sets to get the price per unit down to something sensible. HI5 FUN was their show car in 1999 and that had the same wheels and they were in the JCG catalogue for a while so I suppose a few Works and Sport 5 converted cars must have been fitted with them. They are just normal Sportspack alloys with triple chrome plate.

Text part of the e-mail from Rover, thought I'd post it to give you guys who don't know so much about this car some info.

Dear James
Thank you for your enquiry.
Mini 'Limo'
Mini has been purchased by a wide cross-section of customers from
millionaires as to the 'man-in-the-street'. This unique limousine Mini
demonstrates the extremes of luxury in the confines of a 10' long car.  It
is equipped with the following features;

Electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated Recaro seats
Hand finished beige leather upholstery
Deep pile Wilton carpets
"Mica Red" paintwork
Philips 'Carin' Satellite Navigation System
Unique Alpine In Car Entertainment - the only one in the world - with:
3 'Mini Disc' Autochanger
12 CD Autochanger
Goodmans Inductively Coupled Technology (ICT) Speaker System
Cassette unit

This is the first time a Mini Disc Autochanger has been seen in Europe
and appropriately, it is in a Mini.

The ICE system was developed specially for the car by Alpine, using
Goodmans speakers, to pack as much high quality performance as possible
into an 'mini' space. A special facia was built to house the electronics,
and a minute tachometer was specified to make more room for all the
electrical equipment in the dashboard.

I'll see if I have any interior shots ...
