hello, i'm fairly new to this!

having seen ade's green mini minus recently on ebay and piston heads, i was just wondering, roughly, how much would a front and rear subframe be for a RWD bike driven mini? anyone anyidea?

hope someone can be of some help!

thanks very much!

Moved to Z Cars Chat.

Your looking at ~£5000-6000 for the RWD kit, £500 for the front subframe (when bought with the RWD kit), £1500-20000 for the engine. All in all you won't build a RWD bike engined mini for much less than £10k.

You're not wrong there!!!!!

I dread to imagine what it actuall cost in the end! All I know is that I stopped counting at 15k....... I know someone who is currently building another z-cars minus and he is already at 16k!!!

But we have both built them from scratch. If you have a sorted mini already and build from there it should be possible to build one for the 8-10k region.

I had a decent car to start with, no bodywork/welding required, 13" alloys etc and i still spent 15k on top!!!

just a few points on this "KIT"
rear brakes?
chain and sprockets?
engine mounting brackets?
Hand brake cable?
gear lever and cable?
front shockers?
front springs?
front half of roll cage?
anti roll bar?
fuel tank?
radiater?
powder coating(shot blasted,primed then coloured?)
exhaust system?
silencer?
build dvd?
built by a well known manufacturer whose work is recognised by the insurance companys and if you crash they will pay for the repairs also retains some resale value when you come to sell it on
if you want whats on their web page then thats easy we will happily provide them at the same cost as our profit margin would be better than it is now
