i am doing some resherch in to period mini modifying and i want to know what mods were popular in the 60's and early 70's eather engine mods or anything else be it a paint jobs ot what ever i would love to know

if people can post me info and pictures that will be really helpfull as i would love to see some more period mods

and what trends of fashions there were

or if some one can give me a link to some web sites that will be good too

Bumpers with overiders and the corner bars. Cooper S reverse rims? I'v seen them on early modified cars in white with chrome centres.

changing all your rocker switches for long armed toggle switches was a popular mod. Vinyl roofs, two tone paint jobs, crazy seat covers,...

ow yeah i saw loads of these long toggle switch covers at the auto jumble at stanford.

If u read the Vizard book "how to modify your mini" there r plenty of period mods in there,The first book doesn`t even cover Hif carbs!

those aren't mercuries...dog's old ones were. and jupiters are different...aren't those bwa or something?

rear screen louvres?

lots of big bright driving lamps/ fog lamps

period roof racks

number plate stickers on the bonnet
