No i left nailing it i was afraid it would split the wood, and if it does rattle appart ill stick more glue onlooks like it worked pretty well, did you nail it as well as gluing it as it might end up getting vibrated apart otherwise.

you could drill a small hole all the way through, large enough to thread a self tapping screw in, but small enough so that the thread grips well. just an idea to hold it together. Or get a bit fancy and fibreglass around the raised parts, sealing the gaps in and have a nice curve. it will make it sound better as well, as gaps mean the bass will sound like its chuffing (if you get what i mean!). Otherwise, a nice idea i will most likely nick for my other mini, and i'll post uo pics of my doorcards later, you'll like those

thanks. theyre not much thicker than the black plastic doorbins on later minis eiter, so they fit nicely. just need electric windows as the window winder catches although for now i have shortened winder handles.
