looks like it worked pretty well, did you nail it as well as gluing it as it might end up getting vibrated apart otherwise.

No i left nailing it i was afraid it would split the wood, and if it does rattle appart ill stick more glue on :lol: :dontgetit:

you could drill a small hole all the way through, large enough to thread a self tapping screw in, but small enough so that the thread grips well. just an idea to hold it together. Or get a bit fancy and fibreglass around the raised parts, sealing the gaps in and have a nice curve. it will make it sound better as well, as gaps mean the bass will sound like its chuffing (if you get what i mean!). Otherwise, a nice idea i will most likely nick for my other mini, and i'll post uo pics of my doorcards later, you'll like those

heres my doorcards:

[attachment=41058:Doorcard.jpg][attachment=41059:Doorcard3.jpg]

Infinity Reference 6x9 and JBL GTO 6.5 inch in each one so far. I will be upgrading these and possibly ditching the 6x9's and blank that hole off to allow a bit more airspace for the new components going in. Made thse from 4mm MDF, fibreglass resin and high density modelling foam.

Well, Frankie mate, no one can say you aren't an optimist with all this work before you've got a mini! Still, if positive thinking is the way to go, you're bound to win! All the best :lol:
