...blahahahaha!

It help to slow it down as I painted the bottom half of El Gordo with it. Just a brush and a tin. You can thin it down and spray it too.

Basicaly, yes. You can paint a mini with hammerite.

The late 'Shaun Smith' (R.I.P. buddy) Painted his car with Hammerite.

Results were very good,.. Though he did thin it down and Spray it on with an Compressor and Gun....

You'll have to wait quite a while for the paint to fully harden,.. but it is do-able. Don't buy Hammerite's own special thinners,... Celly thinners do it just as well.... and it flashes of quicker too..

if you don't mind about the finish, it's ok... best to thin it, do a few thin coats allowing to totally dry between coats and rubbing back before applying the next. thick hamerite takes ages to cure and if ts realy thick, it remains tacky in the under layers as the solvent never evaporates.

My Dad dit it about 20 years ago to his old GT. That worked a treat and it took several coats, but you could tell it had been hand-painted if you looked close up.

You will get good results with coach enamel and a small foam roller but you will have to primer any bare metal first and best to mask the screen rubbers etc first
