When refitting my carpets, do they go flush with the door seals or do the door seals go over the top of them? What carpet set do you recommend?

Cheers

arund the doors yes, The carpet should tuck just behind the door seals. I like black carpet. I Dont like it when its all colour coded, i think it looks cheap!

As Binge said, it just tucks under. If you run the carpet all the way to the edge of the panels around the door opening you won't get the seal on properly, it should just go under the seal by about 1/4" (6mm) or so.

I too have heard that Newton carpet sets (moulded ones) are the way to go. Not only are they the best quality, but they're also the best and easiest fitting ones apparently... Saves headaches

I just ordered a pair of deep red/maroon molded factory carpets today from a local mini shop.

Gf is picking them up this week, so I should have them by the weekend. They're the original factory molded ones with under pad built in.

Can't wait!!
