Right, i was going thru bags of stuff and came across some old T-shirts.

I proper love the band, 'Iron Maiden' and have listened and collected there music for years and years. I used to run a fan site and managed to get Bruce Dickinson to mention it on BBC 6 Music on his show, then play a requested song of mine

Anyway....

I was thinking how cool it would be for me to do something MINI and IRON MAIDEN related.

So i thought....Mini Road Race car meets Iron Maiden.

Basically.

Black paint job. Black interior. but i want this eddie face from my T-shirt on either side, rear quater panels. Could it be done in vinyl?

Since its a road rally car i wanted (fibreglass front, grp 5's etc) I thinking instead of door numbers....

an....

On the doors and centre of bonnet.

I would love to do it if possible, as i might stand a chance of getting recongised as having the 'Iron Maiden' Mini and even get on their website etc.

 Lost the plot I think

It would be wicked if you get the T shirt design airbrushed onto the bonnet. :smartass:

Dont do it! Will be a waste of money, you will get bored of it after a few months and will make the car very hard to sell on

Get the door cards done instead then you can take them off when you come to sell. Or Replace the bonnet with a plain black one and hang the other one on your bedroom wall

What about the roof of the mini! get somthing on there!

It will probably be about £200 for a set of vynals cutting that size but I say go for it! Iron maden rock!

Hmm, Ok. I think it would look better airbrushed on the rear quarter panels, maybe harder to sell on but might make it very desirable to Iron Maiden/Mini fans! As long as its done well. Having it done on the bonnet would be more versitile as you could then swap it with another bonnet as and when you please! Pretty much just summarising whats already been said there, in fact theres no real need for me to post this, ah well!!

Leave the vinyl on for too long when you remove it you will notice the difference in paint colour.

There are great air brush artist out there. They could do it ghost style. So you won't really notice it and it will also add that extra bit of darkness to it all. I vote for quarter panels though. Should look good, not my style, but if done right it should look good.
