Just a thought, and someone may have already mentioned this somewhere, but have we offered a space on the run to one of the Mini Magazines? If we want this to become an anual event then we need publicity this year. I seem to remember someone saying something about a reporter but I can't remember if we've offered them a whole car or not. If we did then they could bring their photographer as well, and obviously they'd still be required to pay and raice money.

iirc, miniworld were not interested in attending the run, just doing a write up afterwards and mini mag didnt reply.

ooooo I'll look forward to skipping past another one of there anual runs they attend instead, Tis pretty poor to be honest that we have the possibility of getting 50 minis and taking them to the Nurburgring and back meeting up with european mini clubs with the aim of raising money for charity and MiniMagazine can not even be botherd to reply!! Mind you they are probably having funding issues, they have to keep Go Bini supplied with Binis!!!

I think we should all e-mail them to tell them what we think!!!

Have allsorts of motoring mags/ programs been contacted?? I read auto express and I remember them attending a run of allegros!! What about classic car mags, or mags like retro cars?? Basically anything that will raise attention to the cause!!

I for 1, agree that we ALL should send a email to them saying how disapointed we are that this is for charity, there name is on the plaques, and the best they can do is give us a SMALL write up at the end if it, if were lucky,

there name is getting spread all across europe,

even if your not one of the 50 runners, this is also your Forum, stand up and show them we mean Business :grin:

they might not listen to one, but they sure will listen to the whole forum :grin:

Had a reply already.
He ( steve Philips) has now moved within the compay to fast ford but has passed on my e.mail to the editors of mini mag and retro cars. Will keep you updated!
