alrighties thanks, ill say closer to the time how things go with the rally car, im waiting on my V5 as the last owner never bothered sending it so now im having to pay bloody £25 to do it myself!

its totaly out of order, considering i bought it at begining of august. anyway i phones DVLA see even if they had revived such form but no so i put it through myself should take 4-6 weeks so i can just hope really

If the seller didn't send off the V5 you don't have to pay, I had to apply for a V5 for the Mini because the seller didn't send it off, twas free as wasn't my fault. So why are you paying?

Should only be paying for the V5 if you've lost the original, as said above. I never got mine because of where I live, contacted the DVLA and they said that as long as you have the slip off the V5 (V5a?) from when you bought the car then you don't have to pay the £25.

As above, as long as you have section 11 I think it is, from the V5 (the New Keepers Supplement that you should have filled in and kept when buying the car), then you send this off along with your application for the V5 and you don't have to pay.

no, because that only lasts 2 months anyway...plus i didnt get it because when he bought the V5 round it was malled and that 1/2 was missing anyway i really dont care so much anymore i JUST WANT TO DRIIIIIVE IT!!!!
