Just been under the car making sure everything is ok before i go in my dads garage (he wants it out ASAP!) I was looking at the bushes and it looks as though there are 2 per corner, but in my 'full rear sub bush kit' there are only 6!! Does anyone have any ideas?? :erm:

Well, you should put this in technical (someone will move it soon I guess).

Pre 76 cars need two small rubber bushes per mounting, one fitted to each mounting from each side.
Post 76 cars need the same small bushes for the two rear mountings (so there's four of them) and two big bushes for the front mountings, one per mounting fitted from outside and held with a gigantic bolt.

If you have a full subframe set with six bushes it's for a post 76, Mk4 Mini. If your car needs 8 then it has a pre 76, Mk3 rear subframe fitted (however old the car is itself, the subframe is Mk3 if it uses four small trunions instead of two small and two large)
