I'm still alive!
Sorry for the serious lack of updates, the car went on the back burner for a while, although the Roof mould is now complete and I'll be doing something on the car over the Christmas break.
Watch this space!
Cheers,
Les

After a long stint at Knight Motorsport - I have the car back home now for the last few finishing bits!
Really pleased with the work Wayne has carried out for me, I gave him a few ideas I had on how it needed to look and he really made it happen.
The car is now wired and plumbed. Really happy now too as its on the key, the sound through the Tony Law exhaust is great!
Its mostly body panel fitting and just routing of the loom.
Cheers,
Les

Good to see your back on track, what did you have done at Knight Motorsport? Arent they the other mini bike engine builder? pictures please, I am intrigued.
looking forward to seeing another estate on the road, I've been trying to talk the missus into letting me build her a Honda 2.2 CDTI Zcars Estate but as yet she's not having it - booo......
keep us updated.

Not started the carbon roof lay up yet. Have to do the customer ones first!
Car is back at Knight Motorsport, I thought i'd have time do a few jobs myself but i couldn't find the time so its gone for brake/clutch bleed and suspension set-up.
Will hopefully be back next weekend.

Where does the time go......??!!
Hadn't been to see the car since my last update - until yesterday. Had a drive in her and came home with a big smile on my face
It wasn't without its issues though!
Bump steer was evident, so I'll be following many of the fellow builders in making spacers and using rose joints etc...
Clutch cylinder (rally design - wilwood) was faulty and needed replacing
Big problem was the brakes, bias using wilwood 4 pots front and sierra calipers rear - just couldn't get a decent pedal ??????
There's a few bits to tidy up but I'm buzzing at the minute.

Good to hear that it's running and its making you grin.
I am looking forward to seeing the body once its all together, all this talk of carbon fibre, I want to see some.
Good luck with getting the brakes sorted, what size m/c's you running, I had 2x .625's but they didnt have the guts for the 4pots, I ended up with 2x .75's.
