Slight problem with wiper blades, They don't wipe a patch of the windscreen right in front of me, its about 4"x5", it totally screws my vision if I'm driving in the wet! It also happens on the passenger side (but I'm not as worried about this). is there anything I can do about it other than getting new blades? File down the outisde edges so the blade is flatter?!

Its more than likely the wiper blades.

But as Madmax said, It could be the arm spring too.

I dont think fileing down the ends of the wiper blades will solve it as a wiper blade has a specially shaped edge to scrape the water off the screen, If you file it and get the angle wrong, It wont work at all :cheese:

I suppose you could try it, and if it dosent work, Get a new set of blades

What, for the sake of £10

sunshine had the same problem after i'd put new blades on her car, when i looked the top of the blade when it was in the upright position, was rubbing over the seal for the windscreen, have a look to see if this is happening to yours
