
Power Steering On A Mini? Anyone?

A 'quick' rack does nothing in terms of speeding up how quickly you can turn the wheel, it just lessens the amount of turns needed lock to lock iirc.
I asked the same question a while back on another forum and I'm sure the Corsa conversion was an answer on there

And like I say I think he's more interested in having power steering because of the speed in which you can turn the wheel as opposed to how heavy the steering is.

He didn't buy a kit at all just got the parts from scrap yard, not sure whats in the black box of electrics. I do remember him saying that he had to use the bottom end of a mini column with the middle of the corsa column and the top of a mini column so he could still use the mini column switches
by the way all on a standard steering rack
