Although not used on a mini, never had that problem before, maybe you'd used on a hot engine?

Cheers for all ya help and suggestions guys!

Have decided to go with the Gunk and the lil steamer (or a watering can of i cant find one)

Just one more question, more looking for opinions than an answer.....
a colour to paint the engine?

Shall i go for original red, black, maybe same colour as the car itself, or somthing else?

hey guys
I've been thinking about getting my grimey engine steam cleaned, but i'm not sure about it, what with all the electrics and what-not.

What do you guys think?

Anyone had it done before?

just done it on an spi in work. leave the engine running, spray the cleaner over everything and then powerwash off. may need to do this a couple of times to get the muck off. dont do this with the engine off as it more than likely wont start again! give it a few minutes to dry out and then it should be ok to switch off.

I'm down again next weekend want to do mine?
