That is gorgeous! What sort of estimate 0-60 times does that give you?

I love those wheels! - Got a link to where i can get them? Also when you changed from big to small - did you have adjust the ride height accordingly to get the car to sit right on them?

Its great how you've got bonnet straps, grille buttons and overiders yet still the front end looks smooth and simple! Cars like this always make me lean more towards putting a mk1 grille on mine - Looks great!

Not really sure on the 0-60 times. Speaking to the guys with the supercharged MPI's I would guess at somewhere around 7 - 8 seconds but it would be a total guess.

I haven't done anything to the ride height yet. Am going to lower it a bit to make it sit a bit better at the back, need to try to lift the Cat up a bit first as it already has a tendency to catch on bumps.

I had to wait around 4 months for the wheels, I got them through Andy at MLM. Unfortunately the website is down at the mo but he is really helpful if you email. the site is www.mlmotorsport.com there is a temp forum and contact details.

I always loved the Mk1 grille so just decided to go for it.

Sportspack arches and 6x10 wheels just look som right, don't they? Don't mind admitting I'm doing the same on my rebuild (I'd lovely budget to run to an S/c engine!) but have tubed the rear end to ensure I can lower the car without clearance problems. Front arches are cut away as well.

 

This Spi is a lovely car and conversion.

Are you running it on a standard ECU or some thing like emerald
Are there any restrictions running with the standard one ?
