Anyone has these in a Mini? Sparco GT...
They are (according to Sparco) 55cm wide - is that too wide?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm also thinking about Sparco GT seats.

No... sorry. Ended up buying a pair of Honda CRX seats which I have not installed yet - came with custom made Mini subframes though.

In case it helps anyone, Garreth at GSM Performance sent an extremely helpful reply to my inquiry regarding a customer of theirs that used Sparco GT seats in a Classic Mini:

Our customer used Cobra frames:

And then created an adaption platform to adjust the bolt location points to the new Sparco points. This would allow them to fit the vehicle nicely as they fit the cockpit space just fine!

Do those frames and cobra seats tilt forwards on the original pivot?

I have not fitted them yet, but they seem to do just that.

I fitted these SA CooperS replica seats, they're fibreglass shells that fit onto the seat frames (preferably MK1 but my upholsterer modified the bottom width for them to fit on the MK3 seat frames) and then gets unholstered.

Has anyone tried fitting a Porsche 987 seat in a classic mini?

If anyone is interested, these are the Sparco GT seats in my car. They fit well and fold for rear seat access. I think they're quite comfortable and look great. Unfortunately, the way my shop had to mount them leaning back they don't recline. That said, the angle they got them in feels perfect for me.

Those look brilliant!  Love that they dont look too huge for the interior.  When you say they don't recline, is that because they're hitting the rear bins?  I presume you can adjust the angle of the seatback a bit, even if they dont actually recline?

Edit: Disregard everything I've said. The seats do recline further and I'm a tired father of two!
