Cheap bucket seats, they come up on ebay all the time, I got the pair for £100 from Makro.

Custom made bolt together subframes. Very comfy, tilt forward and realy hold you in, in the corners.

They go for £175 on essex racing.

Not quite exclusive as they say.

can anyone suggest some nice seats under 200 quid that will be nice & light & dead comfy

I drive my wifes smart car sometimes and the seats are quite comfy. They hug around the sides just enough and they are quite light.

THESE may not be the best colour but are well under £200.

They are also the safest productions seats ever made with regards to rear impact and yes they are comfy.

My seats are from a BMW Z3 and fit a treat! Had to make up some brackets to make them fit though.

I have BMW Z3 seats which are electric!

They are on an easily modified subframe, they fit well within the front, only downsides are that they are quite tall and because they are from a convertable they arent reclining, so you cant really get in the back, if you can get in the back then there is enough room. I' m going to rethink them when the weather is better because im sure i can make them better they are on the old tippy subframes so they do come forward, i just need to make them sit lower down so the top doesn't hit the roof.

Good idea for a thread will get pics up!

Yup Makro's, they probably won't have them anymore.
Don't have any pics of the subframes sorry, but its the seats themselves that move not the frame.
I basicly made two rails running along the length of the car with them attatched to the original crossmember mounts, and are attatched at the back via 2 _/\_ shaped brackets bolted to the floor. When I put my cage in and take the seats out i'll get some snaps.

Does anyone know if the OMP TR-S seats would fit?

575mm at the 'wings'
605mm from bottom to the center of 'wings'
445mm wide base
870mm bottom to top of back/headrest

And what subframes would i need, it is base mounted?

i got a pair of black leather escort cosworth recaros in my clubby, made the subframes myself. they are a bit of a tight fit, but i'm happy with them, especially as i only paid £40 for the pair off a very very good mate. :P
