Hi everyone, I've introduced myself before but ill do it again as for now the real action begins. My name is Adam, I'm from Montreal, Canada and I believe I might be the first Z-Cars owner up here. I've owned my '79 Mini 1000 for about 12 years and it has seen many different motors over the years. The latest one was a Honda D16Z6 that produced roughly 140hp. It was fun but it wasn't enough. The front wheels has so much, um, responsibility, accelerating, steering, braking. I thought it would be time to give them a rest. Enter Z-cars Bike Engined Mini Conversion Kit (Hayabusa version). After several emails and phone conversations with Richard from Z-Cars I finally placed my order (First week of September). The shipment is to arrive in roughly 3 days and im as excyted as, well as excyted as someone who is just about to recieve a Z-Cars Hayabusa kit. I'll be sure to post picture and answer questions to the best of my ability.
Here are some pictures of my car, past and present:

Excellent job! Shame you had to ditch the Honda engine. At least it's still Japanease!! You will have to get used to the revs and the rear end under steer on the circuit!! With 175bhp standard, those things really pick up quick. Do a search on Diablo smart 2007 on Youtube. Not quite what I'm doing, more the total opposite of what you are doing, going back to an A series!.

Good luck.

Brakes were alloy 4 pots with EBC green pads clamping the 7.5" S rotors up front with stock drums on the rear. They worked well on the street, but on the track it got a little excyting after the first 15 minutes.
