I sort of want to quit my job as it's so boring, but it is pretty easy and I do get to spend most of my day on TMF! >_<

Start looking, Sheree, but make sure you jump into something you want to do rather than the first one the comes up as an escape route.
Think about what it is that you really enjoy and see if you can find a job that exploits that.
Good luck, Girlie!! I'm in the same position!!!
>_< :dontgetit: :dontgetit:

Listen to a vast amount of music through your earphones - its the only thing that keeps me sane where i work. Also makes me work faster, and by the 6th album i know its nearly time to go 'yem'!

I know! It soooo is hard, im in a bit of a Limbo at the moment!

The last job I was in, was ok, I got paid a fair amount more than I have ever got before, when it wasnt busy, it was bloody boring, but I could be just sitting there on TMF and getting paid for it. That job unfortunately ended, was only a temporary position and I was hoping something full time would come up, but it didn't. The people I worked with were lovely, and it was a great company to work for.

I then got SOOOO bored at home, not having a job that I applied to be a sales assistant in *cough* JD sports. >_< I have been there since 12th december. When I first started I enjoyed it to start with but mainly because of the people I worked with (previously had worked with one of the guys in two other jobs). I just wanted to get a job to keep me occupied and bring the pennies in. It was rubbish pay but hey, it was something. Then, the last few weeks my boss has been really picking on me. At first it was just a bit of teasing, then it got to name calling, then it even got as far as hiding the work I had been doing and making me do it again :dontgetit: so i would finish work later . It sucked. Today I turned up on time, and he tried telling me I was 20mins late!! He has done this before where Ive said Im working 9-4 and he'll say no, ive got you down for 9-6.30 when he knows damn well he told me 9-4and that I cant stay later. He even changed the rota so I could see it said 9-6.30 over 9-4 .

I know its only little pathetic things but when its just aimed at you, its horrible. He is only 20 and is a manager, and is SO flipping immature! He bitches about other employees too. So basically I had an argument with him earlier and quit my job, told him where to stick it. I am now writing a complaint to the area manager about it, my other colleagues had also had grief from him. So now im jobless, and currently sitting on my bed filing in applications and looking through the local paper

Ive have applied for Sussex police, and have only handed my application in last week, I just need a job until I hear about that, If i don't get in past the application stage Ill stick with a job until I can apply for the police again after 6months.

Ive only been out of college since last may. Ive no Idea what I want to do, knew I never wanted to go to uni, ive known that since v young. I've always been fairly interested in the police, even more so since I have members of my family who have been in the force for several years so I thought I would give it a go. What have I got to lose. Might hate it, might love it.(if I get in! ^_^ ) who knows.

All Id say for you is just go for anything that interests you slightly as you never know what it will lead to, you might surprise yourself or find another skill or talent that you never knew you had!! If you really hate a job, dont do it, at the end of the day happiness is more important than money and if its making you miserable then its not the job for you!

Good luck

sorry about the essay :dontgetit:

yea me too

To be honest I knew I wanted another job between now and IF i get the one I want, but I wasnt really getting much time to look for a new job, and I went round town earlier and got some application forms

At the end of the day its only money, happiness is more important >_<

UPDATE:

job is rubbish.
went for an interview (at the same place) bit of a shot in the dark, haven't heard anything yet.
i'm a bit too young to be in a job i hate! i just dont like sales. I don't find it easy, I don't mind the custmer service part ( i like to chatterbox to them) but it's just the selling that i hate! My manager says I'm good at what I do, but it doesn't alter the fact that I hate it!

i'm still looking elsewhere, but nothing seems to come up! =[

theres a couple of career options I want to look at, but at present college / uni isn't an option, cause I've got rent to pay and what not.

bit of a long shot, but any forensic psychologists or costume designers on here

>_<

rant over .

you can't really be a forensic psychologist without university ....i guess you could fake it and no one would know.
