WEHEY! a picture has magically appeared! I have the power.

On a more serious note, that roof looks Fu**ed. I have repaired damage that bad at my previous work, but wouldn't do it now! new roofskin on that one methinks! Would like to see a pic of it fixed if you have one, just out of interest.

Check out this Fiat Panda we got in at work.

The bloke said 'Anygood at knocking dints out lad?'

'Not bad' I replied. Then he showed me this.

And when we had finished, it looked 99% spot on.

So a few shallow dents can definately be put right by anyone whos decent.

Omg what happened?? I thought I had problems.... lol

Its a courtesy car!! Lol!

The lad who was driving it rolled 4 times into a field in the early hours one morning. Had his license 2 weeks! Bloody youngsters eh!

We were going to put a new roofskin on but the owner is abit of a cheapskate and just told us to fix what we had. So a wee bit of porta power, several lump hammers, a bit of filler and job was a good un.

It also bent a pillar, squashed the side parts of the roof, munched a wing, bent 2 doors, rear bumper, one rear quarter, the bonnet and boot. As well as wrecked the headliner and broke the offside mirror and rear light. The only untouched panels were the front bumper and offside doors.

No pictures of the finished article but I have one of a 'work in progress'

Crikey! wouldn't it have been cheaper to get a new skin than the time it would take to repair it? Just a thought.

roof repairs seem to be about one of the most expensive things on a mini

You know how it goes, some jobs are a doddle and some are an absolute b***ard.

Managed to beat the roof about and get it into polyester in the same day with 2 of us on the job.

Fiat wanted about £500 for a skin. Then you've got the tedious day and half unpicking the skin.. know what I mean?

The car's f**ked anyway, so there was no point spending mega money on it.

So back on topic  Small roof dints can be fixed!
