Once all my little niggley problems are sorted (see comedy of errors post in mini chat) i intend to have a removable 2 piece carbon fibre front flip, carbon fibre doors and boot lit, twin fuel tanks, cobra opus buckets, full cage, 4 point harnesses, 13x7 deep dish minilites, rear disk brake conversion, decent adjustable coil over suspension, uprated front disks, twin oval tail pipe, the minisport 1430cc fast road engine turbo'd with twin carbs, s/c jkd 6 speed dog box, and a zeemax style bodykit which i will be intouch with Scurvy dog for providing, i just want to show my peers that saxo's and corsa's etc are not the way forward, oh and to drag my mates bug at york race way and show him the error of his ways too, this is his.

.... rear disk brake conversion, ...1430cc fast road engine turbo'd with twin carbs, s/c jkd 6 speed dog box....

IMO... total waste of time and money....

If you want to blow off you saxo / Corsa buddies, all you'll need is a decent 1380 kicking about 100hp, close ratio 4 speed box, 3.44 diff and 10" wheels, you'll pee all aover them

If you want a blown motor then talk to TurboPhil...

i dont think theres anything wrong with your original idea, it will beat the crappy corsas and sh**ty saxos.

i cant stand corsas :( they are all stupid looking cars and the barrys spend so much money on bodykits and big alloys, WHY????? the car is worthless and really slow --END RANT

sorry they really annoy me, my vtec will leave them standing. but it is gonna cost me a few £s.

Good luck with your conversion, im sure it will be great fun to drive

i know the feeling there is an abundance of them with the old combat kit and hugh alloys making them look like monster trucks, not to mention the seat pretty much lay down!! is there a need and why opt for a hugh stereo and loads of weight when you can strip out the car and put a huge engine in and have an attractive fast car, to me i see the corsa's and sexo's etc as prime examples of the ye olde english proverb "YOU CANNOT POLISH A TURD"

1430 and turbo will probably end up warping yuor cylinderwalsl as its so thin being overbored so much. A 1293 trubo would deffinatly kill them. Once the 1340 is built il be able to see haw it does agaianst a corsa B with 2 litre XE in
