Has anybody ever sprayed a dashboard Black with Fine bits of glitter in it ?
was just wondering what it would look like... as i had thought about making a dash and spraying it black with fine red glitter in it as i want my interior red and black.

meh its easy...
get yourself down to homebase..... (or any local diy shop i would imagine)
firstly pick up some black matt paint......
and then you will find a selection of special effects paints... we bought some two tone kind of effect but they also sell sparkle in a can with its own laquer too.
build up the black with 5 or 6 gentle coats... dont spray it on too hard and allow it to set in between coats. Then do the same with the sparkle... taking some 1200 grit paper between layers and then do one final coat and all it to dry.
then once done.. wipe with a tack cloth (to remove any sparkles not covered by laquer) and then take a sponge and some of your finest car shampoo and gently wash the thing.. then wax as you would a normal car. Will come up a treat!!
and if it doesnt... sand it all off and start again!
there should be enough paint to give it at least 2 tries!
