evening lads.

speaking on steves behalf..... (hes left out a fair few things mentioned in our msn convo earlier)

the RSR fronts include the a-panels and a seam.
steves mini is pretty rusty, and needs a whole new front end, 2 new a-panels, and an Apost on teh drivers side (im fairly sure teh a-post is what teh door hinge is mounted on)

so
would it be sensible for him to get his new a-post fitted, and fit a front that includes the a-panels>?

my flip front doesnt include a-panels, and ive fastened it to teh a-panels using tabs and dzeus fastners.
how do you go about fastening a front teh the car when the a-panels are included in teh front?

how does the finish of teh RSR fronts compare to the likes of curley products?

basicly....
the underlying question is:

should steve get a rally sport replicas fibreglass front including a-panels.

or should he fit a curley fibreglass front and get new a-panels welded on conventionally?
thanks
sorry steve! im just trying to help!

i would say its down to personal preference try and get a look at the two different types of front and see where you want to go...

Yeah one may cost more but you really need to add it all up and look at the options, and your preference will come easy.

LOTS of people are now doing front ends. Some are better than others. Have a look around, ask around, see if you can view them, find out how they are made, who did the orginal mould (to see if they copied any one) and find out the finish you can get.

Rally Sport have bought lots of moulds which include bodyshells, so the fit should be up their.

Yes, i do front ends as well, GRP, Carbon Fibre and Kevlar.

Best thing to do is ask around
