A few months ago I got some wheel archers for my mini, however I have absolutly no idea how to fit them so they're still in their box on my bedroom floor, taking up much need space! I dont suppose anyone could help me as to how I fit them??
I know they are fiberglass, but thats about all i know!
sorry i dont really help myself all that much do i?

If they have the holes in them already drilled then they will need to be Riveted through them. If there is no holes at all, then they will need to be fixed to the lip of the arch on the wing. You will need to make sure they fit OK first by taking ur old arch off, and trial fitting them to see if they line up as good as possible to the body, some tweeking may be required to get them to fit somewhere close to flush onto the body.

You should have a rubber strip that fits between the body, and the arch, if all lines up ok, then you can drill under the lip through the arch. Then rivet..

You can use screws aswel, but i always have bad experiences with screws, so always opt for riveting!

Hi
get the old arches off by drilling the heads off the rivets , then they should just drop off. Just watch out if youre fitting wide arches that your mini will look silly if it doesnt have wide wheels to match - as per my mates mini im selling on the pic below! As for rivets you need a rivet gun and theyre used to hold stuff together where you only have access from one side. so poke the rivet thru the hole until the little saucer is flat on the surface of the arch, then put the long thin end into the rivet gun and squeeeze the handles of the gun together until the end snaps off, at the same time this will stick the wheel arch to the wing. Just make sure you use the right size rivet. If you dont fancy tackling it yourself im sure a garage wouldnt charge you much more than it would cost you to buy the rivet gun....

Take the ones you already have on, rub them down with wet and dry and paint them to match the colour of your car.

Use a plastic primer then spray the colour. Put the other ones on Ebay and get your money back. Only a suggestion though.
