to be honest with you im not overly sure what they are! i did know, n have jus tried to look on ebay to see if i can find previsouly won tiem n i got them so long ago that they're not there any more! gonna give sprayin my original ones a go first n if they look C**p then i mite be drivin down to see you! lol!

i'm plannin to do exactly what bigbadboab said! i cant afford new wheels....so no point fitting bigger arches wiv my 12x5 minilites!

yup me too! jus bin down to see someone at the local mini garage n he says id need to buy bigger wheels.....really cant afford to do that at the mo! so he recamended a place where i can get them sprayed, cus lets be honest, the chances of me being able to do it myself are pretty minimal!!!! so they're being sprayed a week today!! ill send u a pic of the results!

yeah i'm gettin my whole car resprayed in a few months, so i'm planning to fill the screw holes and smooth and prime the arches....so that they can be srayed body colour.

i asked this in a different post.....but has anyone got any ideas how i'd get the arches body colour....but then also smooth the holes over...and arch rubber?i want it but just cant seem to work out how to do it!

Just taken my ickle car to the paint shop to have her aches painted!! hopefully it'll look quite good!

As I sprayed my arches myself from a nasty Red to a Rover electric blue to match my mini.

yea, sorry had her back ages now, jus neva got round to postin a picture!

ur arches look good! im sure iv seen a pic of ur mini on here with the red arches! looks a lot better body colour!!!

im not sure if i like them myself....seem a bit too bright!

You have a VERY similar car to me! :tongue:

Same roof Decal, Same wheels, Same arches. Infact, its identical but in white! All we need now is sombody with another identical Mini but in red! :grin:

The arches look great!

Give the car and the arches a good Tcut. they will soon start to blend in a bit. Mine are quite bright too as my car paint is old, and the arches are fresh paint.

Just keep polishing the car. :cheese:

Apart from that. Looks really good!

yea i noticed that our cars were vertually the same the other day!! :grin: and im in the process of ordering for some bonnet stripes (blue) and i want some lights to put on my grille!! then they'll be exactly the same almost!

thanx for ya comments on the arches! im still not sure if i like them or not! i guess they'll look better once they've blended in a bit better!!

next step.....a good tcut!! :tongue:

i see what you mean by bright, try giving your car a good wash and polish to see how it comes out, then try t-cutting it.

Go easy if you Tcut the arches because its fresh paint! :grin:

It will Tcut off really easy if your not careful...

If your geting Bonnet stripes. Id go for Black! :grin:

But thats just me.

i was gonna get black bonnet stripes, but nothing else on my car is black so i decided not to, at the mo im emailing a guy who makes 'em and askin if he can do them like this......

Your car looks really good Sian, its gonna take a little bit of time to get used to them as they are new, they are bound to look a bit funny at first.

Like Binge said though, go carefull on the arches, you will probably find that the rest of the car will blend in a bit better once that has had a T-cut and polish. My Mini (when I finally get it! ) has the same arches on it as youers I think, but where I have onl seen it with the arches, Im already used to it.

The bonnet stripes will look if you could get them done, will match the roof and also go well with the rest of the car.
