right i know Bean wants this posted so i thought i would post it for everyone to see. I know The Matt also enjoyed it.
Weetibix Fruit Loaf
to make one loaf (even you student lamos can do it)
you will needs;
2 weetabix (crumbled)
8oz self-raising flour
6oz dried fruit
6oz Demerara sugar
7 fluid oz milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
and thats IT!!!
Basically, mix all the dry ingrediants together making sure the dried fruit isnt all stuck in a lump
then mix in the milk and vanilla essence making sure there is no dry ingredients left.
Now youll think "thats too much milk" as it kinda goes really sticky and like a mud colour. ITS FINE ok
Put the "messy looking horrible mess2 in a greased loaf tin, either butter or grease proof paper will be fine.
Spinkle with more Demerara sugar and put it in the oven for aprox 1 hour at 300*F, 150*C, or gas mark 2.
Before you turn the oven off and think its ok, just put a knive in the middle and make sur it is cooked al the way through.
so there you go bean and anyone else, its nice with Tea, as bean found out today
